See a need, fill a need. That is how we got started. Twice, our home kitchen has been out of service for re-construction work. This took weeks each time. We had no stove, no oven, no sink, nothing. Our fridge was in the dining room and we were cooking on a camp stove on a table. This went on for weeks with delays in scheduling, delays in materials, and delays on the delays.

When your cabinets are tore out- that means all of their contents are spread throughout the house in boxes. Pots & pans in one area, cookie sheets in another. Spices and baking supplies in a box under the table, and condiments playing hide and seek.

Shawn had experience in working with RV trailers and as a general contractor, runs a handyman business in the McKenzie River Valley in Springfield Oregon. He also works as a consultant with restoration companies nationwide and saw their customers in the same predicament as well.

In the fall of 2025, Shawn saw an article online showcasing several companies in the United Kingdom that saw this need and filled it with portable temporary kitchens on wheels. The idea as conceptualized and Shawn ran with it from there.
